The Old Black Swan is situated in the heart
of the Market Place in Bedale. Originally an old coaching
inn, it has been welcoming travellers for hundreds of years
- a tradition continued by its owners today.
As you enter you will find a traditional Yorkshire
pub serving traditional hand pulled Yorkshire Ales. Warm yourselves
by one of the real open fires, or select some delicious food
of your choice from our menu or specials board.
While you are enjoying the Yorkshire hospitality
and your drink, why not try your hand at darts or pool or
if you enjoy sport watch the Sky TV. Relax in one of the bay
windows and watch the bustling market place. On Tuesdays you
can visit the local market right outside our front door.
