Welcome
to Bedale.com - a web site for local residents, visitors,
friends and family. This site has been put together to help
you keep in touch with Bedale, keep up to date with events
and view photographs of events taking place within the town.
This
North Yorkshire town continues to thrive with a bustling Market
Place hosting the weekly Tuesday market. This market is derived
from the granting of its Market Charter in 1251 by Henry III.
The Market Place has interesting shops, many with original
Georgian facades, and large areas of free parking with original
cobblestones.
Bedale
has its own museum, Ice House, Leech House, interesting architecture,
pleasant walks and much more to see in the general area.

With
easy access, a little more than a mile from the A1,
Bedale provides an excellent day out, or a break on
your journey to the Yorkshire Dales. |
